2 Missouri teens hospitalized after car strikes fence

MERCER COUNTY —Two people were injured in an accident just after 1a.m. Saturday in Mercer County.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol reported a 2009 Chevy Malibu driven by Luka D. Nicholas, 18, Princeton, was westbound on Route AA five miles west of Ravanna.

The car traveled through a T intersection, struck a fence and came to rest in a field. 

Mercer County ambulance transported a passenger Maci J. Lisle, 17, Bethany, to Harrison County Community Hospital. A private vehicle transported Nicholas to Wright Memorial Hospital in Trenton.  Lisle was not wearing a seat belt, according to the MSHP.
