George “Butch” Goldizen, 78, Savannah, Missouri, passed away Wednesday, July 20, 2022.
He was born on March 22, 1944 to John and Mary (Forbes) Goldizen in St. Joseph, Missouri. He worked at Leaverton Auto Supply, Dishon Tire and TBA. He married Karen (Raines) Goldizen on March 3, 1965. She survives of the home.
Butch enjoyed spending time with his family, cars, drag racing, softball, bowling horseshoes, his Ram truck, and traveling.
He was preceded in death by his parents; daughter, Tammy Sue; brothers, William (Ester) Goldizen and Bob (Phyllis) Goldizen; sisters, Betty (Robert) Jacobs, Sue (Charlie) Jones, Evelyn (Dean) Larrison, Joan (Standley) McKnight, Billie Jean Goldizen, and Rosemary (David) Bonham.
He is survived by his wife; brothers, John Goldizen, Jr. of Demossville, Kentucky, Dennis Goldizen of King City, Missouri and David (Marva) Goldizen of St. Joseph, Missouri; children, Tom (Teresa) Shaw, Richard (Kirchelle) Goldizen, Tom (Sandy) Goldizen; step Son, Russell Raines; numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and friends.
Natural Farewell under the direction of Meierhoffer Funeral Home & Crematory. Interment Memorial Park Cemetery.
