Ken “Huggy Bear” Douglas, 63, St. Joseph, Missouri, passed away Monday, January 29, 2024.
He was born March 31, 1960 in Houston, Texas to Harold and Ruthie (Harris) Douglas.
Ken married Genise “Bobbie” Broadus on June 11, 2002. She survives of the home.
He worked in law enforcement his whole life.
Ken enjoyed watching old Westerns and game shows, especially “Gunsmoke” and “Jeopardy.” He also liked to go bowling and play video games on his phone.
He attended Renovation Church.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and brother, Michael Douglas.
Survivors include his wife of 21 years, Bobbie; his son, Kenneth W. Douglas, Jr.; brother, Stanley Shields; other extended family and friends; and his beloved dog, Chip.
