Donnie Eugene Ball, 55, King City, MO passed away Thursday, January 2, 2025, at his home.
He was born on August 16, 1969, in St. Joseph, Missouri the son of Robert Eugene and Twila (Chenoweth) Ball.
Donnie graduated from King City High School in 1987, where he and his classmates enjoyed giving the teachers a tough time. He had a rural community heart, enjoying FFA in school, small-town atmosphere, rodeos and tractor pulls.
He lived his entire life in King City, MO. He had a passion for horses, livestock and anything farm related. He loved his family, community and all of his friends. He never knew a stranger (especially if you had an hour to talk!) Growing up he enjoyed going to work with his dad at the Rea Grain and Feed Elevator. Donnie worked for Altec in St. Joseph, for 5 years, before receiving the opportunity to work for Kenny Derks at Pine View Pork where he continued for 28 years until his retirement.
Survivors are mother, Twila Cook of St. Joseph MO; brother, William Ball (Nicole) of King City; children, Cody Ball (Hailey) of San Antonio, TX; Chloe Ball of Charleston, SC; Caden Ball currently stationed at Fort Hood in Killeen, TX; niece Natalee Ball of Austin, TX; numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.
Private Graveside Services will be held in King City Cemetery, King City, MO. The family will receive friends from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Friday, January 10 at Roberson Funeral Home, King City, MO.
