Donna Brock was born May 12, 1930 to John and Norma (Morgan) Gillenwater at Noyes Hospital in St. Joseph, Missouri. Donna graduated from Forest City High School.
On October 2, 1949, she married Leonard Brock. They became parents of three children. She was a devoted wife and mother. She was active in her community as a member of the Adelphas, Homemakers, and Happy Homes clubs.
Her faith played an important part in her life and she had been a lifelong member of the Oregon United Methodist Church. In recent years she had attended the Nazarene Church in Craig, Missouri.
Donna passed away on Monday, November 6, 2023, at her home in Blue Eye, Missouri under the care of Haven Hospice. Donna was preceded in death by her husband and parents.
Survivors include daughters Karen (Kirby) Younger and Debra (Ray) Hunziger, both of Blue Eye; son, Mike (Kerry) Brock of Oregon, Missouri; sister-in-law, Linda (Ralph) Bisig of Forbes, Missouri; nine grandchildren, Matt Younger of Weston, Missouri, Brad (Deavon) Younger of Oregon, Missouri, Alex (Ashley) Younger of Highlandville, Missouri, Shane (Tara) Brock of St. Joseph, Jodi (Rick) Estes of Kearney, Missouri, Sam (Jessica) Hunziger of South Mills, North Carolina, Molly (Troy) Daniels of Fair Play, Missouri, Jesse (Erica) Hunziger of Bellavista, Arkansas, and Dillon (Misty) Hunziger of Buffalo, Missouri; and 13 great grandchildren, Charleigh Younger, Ciaran, Liam, Dexter and Ainsley Brock, Kale, Keegan and Kyler Estes, Payton, Graisyn and Grady Hunziger, and Weston and Gage Hunziger.
Services will be held on Saturday, Nov 11, 2023 at 3:00 pm at Chamberlain Funeral Home in Oregon. Family will greet friends one hour prior to service. Interment will be at Forbes Cemetery. Memorials may be directed to Forbes Cemetery.
