Two hospitalized after Loop 29, two vehicle crash

ANDREW COUNTY —Two people were injured in an accident just after 1p.m. Tuesday in Andrew County.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol reported a 2013 Ford Taurus driven by Kenneth B. Staggs, 42, Agency, was westbound crossing the southbound lanes of Loop 29. The driver failed to yield to a southbound 2014 Jeep Wrangler driven by Jonathan W. Miller, 32, St. Joseph.

The Jeep struck the Ford on the front passenger fender.

Andrew County EMS transported a passenger in the Jeep identified as Ivy P. Briggs, 57, St. Joseph and Staggs to Mosaic Life Care. Miller was not injured.  Staggs was not wearing a seat belt, according to the MSHP.
