The St. Joseph Mustangs used two unearned runs in the first and two earned runs in the second on Tuesday night to defeat the Clarinda A's 4-1 in the final road game of the season.
The Mustangs outhit Clarinda on the low scoring night 4-3, but also struggled in the field with two fielding errors to Clarinda's one.
Missouri Western outfielder Brady Holden drove in the two earned runs in the second inning, bringing in Bishop Leblond alum William Dryburgh and Rob Butler, extending the lead to 4-1.
Holden also scored the first run of the game on a fielding error in left field.
The Mustangs are now 30-14 overall, 28-14 in MINK league play, and will now head back to Phil Welch Stadium for the final four games of the regular season.
The first two games of the four game homestand come against Chillicothe tonight and Thursday. Both games begin at 7pm.
