A 28-year-old Savannah man has been found guilty of first-degree rape after a two-day trial in Buchanan County.
Buchanan County Prosecutor Ron Holliday reports the jury returned a verdict of guilty against James McBride after deliberating for two hours.
The trial was held in front of Judge Dan Kellogg in Division 4 of the Buchanan County Circuit Court.
McBride has been taken into custody at the request of Holliday. He will be sentenced at the end of the month.
