Gilbert E. Kisling, 81, St. Joseph, Missouri, passed away Tuesday, May 30, 2023.
He was born April 3, 1942 in Beatrice, Nebraska, to Herman and Evelyn (Sixel) Kisling.
Gilbert married Emily Malmkar on November 27, 1963. She survives of the home.
He was a pastor for 50 years ending his ministry at the Abundant Life Family Church, Lincoln NE.
Gilbert enjoyed reading and published four books. He loved his wife, kids, grandkids and great grandkids. He enjoyed working in the garden and with his animals and enjoyed traveling and sharing his faith with others.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Survivors include his wife, Emily; children, Jill Morrow, Jeff Kisling, and Robert Campbell; 12 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; siblings, Gene Kisling, Russell Kisling and Karen Kreutzer.
