NODAWAY COUNTY—A Missouri woman was injured in an accident just after 8p.m. Tuesday in Nodaway County.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol reported a 2017 Ford pickup driven by Jordyn M. Miller, 21, Glenwood, Iowa, was southbound on U.S. 71 two miles north of Marysville.
The pickup rear-ended the towed unit of a 2016 Ram pickup driven by Corey D. Money, 39, Maryville. After impact, the Ford traveled off the right side of the road, went airborne over a creek, continued through a barbed wire fence and came to rest in a corn field.
Nodaway County ambulance transported Miller to Mosaic in St. Joseph. Money was not injured. Both drivers were properly restrained, according to the MSHP.
