CLINTON COUNTY —Two people were injured in an accident just before 5p.m. Sunday in Clinton County.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol reported a 2011 Chevy Cruz driven by a 17-year-old Lathrop girl was eastbound on MO 116 one mile east of Plattsburg.
The Car rear-ended a 2019 Chevy Equinox driven by Ashley N. Stayton, 25, Plattsburg, who was slowing to make a left turn into a private drive.
A private vehicle transported the teen driver to Liberty Hospital. Tri-County ambulance transported Stayton to Liberty Hospital. Both drivers were properly restrained, according to the MSHP.
