Nadine Alice Aylesworth, 63, of Whiting, died Monday evening, February 9, 2026 from injuries received from a two vehicle crash north of Holton on US 75 Highway.
Nadine was born November 8, 1963, at Englewood, CO, one of two children born to Donald Kay Sr. and June Alice Michels Aylesworth. They lived various places including Hiawatha where she attended schools.
She worked as a waitress most of her life in restaurants and cafes’.
Nadine was preceded in death by her brother Donald Kay Aylesworth Jr from cancer in 2008, her grandparents Geraldine and Noal Gilbert Michels.
She is survived by her mother June Aylesworth of Whiting; a daughter Tina Gilbert.
Nadine had a lot of problems but she was June’s daughter and she loved her.
Cremation is planned with graveside services t Mt. Hope Cemetery GAZEBO, Hiawatha. Pastor Ian Kinney will officiate.
Memorial contributions may be sent to Chapel Oaks Funeral Home, 124 S 7th St., Hiawatha 66434 to assist with final costs.
Graveside services are planned in the coming weeks at Mt. Hope Cemetery, Hiawatha on her grandparents Noel & Geraldine Michels lot.
