COVID-19 update - Buchanan County numbers remain stable

For the fourth day in a row, St. Joseph health officials report less than 10 new COVID-19 cases in Buchanan County.

The health department reports nine new cases of coronavirus in Buchanan County Friday, and no new fatalities.

Buchanan County has seen a total of 9,912 cases and 157 deaths related to COVID. There have been 8,475 doses of the vaccine administered in Buchanan County to date.

Mosaic Life Care is currently treating 18 COVID-19 patients in its St. Joseph hospital.

Andrew County has reported an error in their online COVID-19 dashboard, but they reported 1,955 total cases and 20 fatalities as of Thursday.

Holt County reports 17 new cases (505 total) since Thursday. Clinton County reports a total of 1,915 cases and 64 fatalities.

Statewide, Missouri reports 874 new cases (470,107 total) and 11 new deaths (7,442 total) Friday.

Since Wednesday, Kansas has reported an additional 1,208 cases (286,102 total) and 61 fatalities (4,364 total). Nearly 8,900 Kansans are hospitalized with COVID complications.

Doniphan County, Kansas reports 923 total cases, Atchison County, KS reports 1,488 and Brown County reports 1,189 total cases of COVID-19.
