DEKALB COUNTY—One person was injured in an accident just before 3:30p.m. Monday in DeKalb County.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol reported a 2011 Ford passenger vehicle driven by a 17-year-old Union Star boy was northbound on U.S. 169 four miles south of King City.
The Ford crested a hill and rear-ended a 2015 Chevy passenger vehicle driven by Tim E. Walters, 56, King City, who was stopped in traffic to allow another vehicle to make a left turn on Liberty Road.
Grand River ambulance transported Walters to Mosaic Life Care. The teen driver was not injured. Both drivers were properly restrained, according to the MSHP.
