Scott Schneider, 68, St. Joseph, Missouri, passed away Thursday, June 27, 2024.
He was born January 3, 1956 in Kansas City, Missouri to Leo and Madeline (Finch) Schneider.
He married Deborah Kay Masterson. They later divorced but remained good friends.
He was a pilot for Raytheon for many years in Rockford, Illinois.
Scott loved to work on computers and play Slot-O-Mania, Pet Rescue and Angry Birds on Facebook.
Family was very important to Scott, and he loved to spend time with the kids and grandkids.
He was a strong man who cherished his independence and taking care of things himself, especially around the house. He also had a wicked sense of humor, which kept him going as he battled illnesses.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and daughter, Kristin Nava.
Survivors include his children, Scott Schneider II (Monica), and Heather Mitchell (William); grandchildren, Rebekah, Mykal, Markus, Madison, Cody and Matthew; great-grandson, Nathanael; other extended family members and friends.
