On July 27, 2024, Patrick D. Karl III was called home to be with the Lord.
Born March 18, 1998 to Patrick Karl, Jr. and Angela Kirkland, he brought a light to everyone who loved him.
Working with his hands and a set of tools, there was nothing he couldn’t fix. A graduate of Savannah High School and the Hillyard Technical Center Welding Program, Patrick had worked as an automation technician at Clarios.
Patrick enjoyed fishing, hunting, wrestling, and football, as well as tinkering on his motorcycle.
He was preceded in death by his grandfathers, George Benner, Pat Karl, Sr., and Roger Harris; great-grandfather, Charles Eugene Cox; and uncle, Jason Cox.
Survivors include his mother and stepfather, Angela and David Kirkland; father, Patrick D. Karl, Jr.; fiancée, Tabitha Dias; sister, Makinze Karl (Joseph Vaughn); nephews, Joseph, Mack, Bayley, Ryker and Bishop Vaughn; grandmothers, Deana Benner and Karen Karl; great-grandmother, Loretta Joyce Cox; numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and friends whom he loved dearly.
His nephews and little cousins were the light of his life. Teaching them life lessons, all while instigating their ornery sides, was what he lived for.
Celebration of Life 2:00 P.M. Saturday, Restoration Church. The family will gather with friends 6:00 to 8:00 P.M. Wednesday, Meierhoffer Funeral Home & Crematory.
