Missouri Basketball Coaches' Association unveils all-state basketball teams

The Missouri Basketball Coaches' Association released their 2020-21 all-state boys' and girls' basketball teams on Wednesday night. Below is a list of honorees from the KFEQ/St. Joseph Post coverage area.

MBCA ALL-STATE CLASS 1 BOYS
Landon Poppa, Mound City, Senior
Tony Osborn, Mound City, Junior
Collin Sager, Stanberry, Senior

MBCA ALL-STATE CLASS 2 BOYS
Tanner McDaniel, North Andrew, Senior
Javon Noyes, Mid-Buchanan, Senior

MBCA ALL-STATE CLASS 3 BOYS
Nick Knight, Lathrop, Senior

MBCA ALL-STATE CLASS 4 BOYS
Kason Mauzey, Benton, Junior

MBCA ALL-STATE CLASS 1 GIRLS
Jaclyn Pappert, Platte Valley, Junior
Maggie Collins, Platte Valley, Freshman
Malia Collins, Platte Valley, Senior
Coach of the Year: Tyler Pedersen, Platte Valley

MBCA ALL-STATE CLASS 4 GIRLS
Serena Sundell, Maryville, Senior
Laini Joseph, Cameron, Senior
Player of the Year: Serena Sundell, Maryville

Sundell was also named the Miss Show Me Basketball Player of the Year - the highest honor the MBCA gives out to an individual player each season.
