NODAWAY COUNTY —One person was injured in an accident just before 7:30p.m. Friday in Nodaway County.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol reported a 2011 Chevy 1500 driven by Nichole M. Nichols, 31, Guilford, was eastbound on Route M one mile west of Guilford.
The driver swerved to avoid a deer in the road. The pickup traveled off the right side of the road. The driver overcorrected and the vehicle overturned.
Nodaway County EMS transported Nichols to Mosaic Life Care. She was properly restrained, according to the MSHP.
