The Missouri Department of Transportation will close the northbound I-29 bridge over Route 36 starting next week on Monday to performe maintenance on the bridge.&nbsp;&nbsp;

Work on the bridge will also force the closure of the northbound  I-29 ramp to westbound U.S. Route 36 as well as the eastbound U.S. Route 36 ramp to northbound I-29.&nbsp; The closure will begin on Monday, August 24th at 6am and will be closed until 4:30pm.&nbsp; Northbound I-29 will be narrowed to one lane from the 45.8 mile marker to the 46.2 mile marker. 

&nbsp;Motorists will need to seek an alternate route during the closure.&nbsp; &nbsp;MoDOT asks drivers to always buckle up, keep your phone down, and to slow down and move over in work zones.
