A St. Joseph woman suffered two gunshot wounds during a shooting outside the Frog Hop convenience store in St. Joseph late Monday night.
St. Joseph police say the woman was shot in the thigh and in the foot. Neither wound is considered life threatening. The woman, who is 56, was taken to the hospital for treatment.
Police say officers responded to a call about shots being fired at 2001 Messanie Street shortly after 11 o’clock. Multiple shots had been fired. Two struck the woman, the only victim in the shooting. Several hit the Frog Hop building.
Police are waiting to get the video from the Frog Hop as the investigation continues.
