CALDWELL COUNTY — A Missouri man was injured in an accident and later arrested just before 2:30a.m. Saturday in Caldwell County.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol reported a 2003 Chevy Silverado driven by Luke B. Carr, 20, Polo, was northbound on Route B one and one half miles south of Cowgill.
The pickup crossed the center line, traveled off the west side of the road up an embankment and returned to the road. The pickup then traveled off the east side of the road, through a fence, struck a tree and came to rest in a creek bed.
He was arrested on requested charges of DUI and minor in possession of alcohol and he was also not wearing a seat, according to the MSHP. Caldwell County EMS later transported Carr to Liberty Hospital.
