Ruth Ann McMichael, 69, St. Joseph, Missouri, passed away Wednesday, August 27, 2025.
She was born April 15, 1956 to Ernest and Evadine (Marriott) Adams in Norborne, Missouri.
Ruth married Tony Lee McMichael on August 29, 2016.
In her professional journey, Ruth's ethic was exemplified through the years she spent at Montgomery Wards. She later ventured into her own business, operating a cleaning service.
She adored her kids and grandchildren, whose lives she touched with her unfaltering love and support. An avid enthusiast of treasure hunting, Ruth could often be found at garage sales and thrift stores rummaging for finds.
She was preceded in death by her parents; siblings, Melvin Adams and Gearldean Hibdon.
Survivors include her husband, Tony; children, Angela Kepner (Terry), Tanya Wegenka (Chris), and Jason Cone (Kristina); grandchildren, Lorrie Kepner, Amber Godfrey, Kaylee Kepner, Tiffany Sollars, Rachelle Cone, and Kaydence Throckmorton; great-grandchildren, Leianna Smith, Landon Kepner, Delaney Wilson, ParkLynn Smith, A’maeleon Burns, and Tyvon Williams; sisters, Erma Silvey (Gary), and Mary Baker; several nieces and nephews.
Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
