Bethany man injured after motorcycle strikes 2 dogs in the road

GENTRY COUNTY —One person was injured in an accident just after 1p.m. Sept. 17, in Gentry County.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol reported a 2020 Harley Davidson motorcycle driven by James C. Brown, 84, Bethany, was southbound on 169 two miles south of Gentry. The motorcycle struck two dogs that ran into the road.

Brown was ejected from the motorcycle. A private vehicle transported him to Mosaic in Albany. He was wearing a helmet, according to the MSHP.

WAS SOUTHBOUND ON 169 HIGHWAY. TWO DOGS RAN INTO THE ROADWAY. VEH1 STRUCK THE DOGS, AFTER IMPACT DRVR1 WAS EJECTED TO THE LEFT SIDE OF VEH1. DRVR1 CAME TO REST IN THE ROADWAY.
