HOLT COUNTY —One person was injured in an accident just before 3:30a.m. Tuesday in Holt County.
The Kansas Highway Patrol reported a 2021 International box truck driven by Shawn M. Wiseman, 38, Shawnee, was northbound on Interstate 29 one mile east of Corning.
The truck traveled off the east side of the road, struck a highway traffic sign, continued along the west edge of the exit ramp, struck four reflector posts, overturned and lost the cargo down an embankment.
Life Net Air transported Wiseman to KU Medical Center. He was not wearing a seat belt, according to the MSHP.
