CALDWELL COUNTY—Three people were injured in an accident just before 6p.m. Wednesday in Caldwell County.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol reported a 2015 Chrysler passenger vehicle driven by Wayne A. Vincent, 83, Hamilton, was northbound on Route B at U.S. 36.
The vehicle pulled into the path of an eastbound 2006 Ford pickup driven by Jerry W. Thompson, 76, Pleasant Hill. The pickup struck the Chrysler and a MoDOT sign.
Caldwell County EMS transported Thompson and his wife Helen L. Thompson, 77, Pleasant Hill to Cameron Regional Medical Center. Vincent refused treatment at the scene. The MSHP had incomplete seatbelt information.
