BUCHANAN COUNTY —One person was injured in an accident just before 10p.m. Friday in Buchanan County.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol reported a 2013 Ford pickup driven by Sheri D. Aubuchon, 51, Platte City, was northbound on Interstate 29 two miles south of Faucett.
The driver lost control on the ice covered bridge. The pickup skidded off the right side of the road, struck a guardrail, returned to the road and struck a northbound 2016 International Box Truck driven by Gregory W. Marshall, 60, Kearney, Missouri.
Buchanan County ambulance transported Aubuchon to Mosaic Life Care. Marshall was not injured. Both drivers were properly restrained at the time of the accident, according to the MSHP.
