John Carter Miller, 64, St. Joseph, Missouri, passed away September 8, 2024. He was born on February 22, 1960, in St. Joseph, Missouri to Phillip E. and Patricia J. (Mattox) Miller.
He married Tina M. Deever on October 15, 2019. He is survived by his children, Dustin Miller, Misty Spencer, John J. Miller (Andrea), Christina Vega (Robert), Tobias Deever (Vikki), and Andrea Miller (David); grandchildren, Kayton, Cameron, Ali, Johnathan, Maddison, Jameson, Rayden, Lilly, Tateum, Kane, Kace, Tobias Jr., Ellie, Adaline, Brett, Zachary, and Bryan; great-grandchild, Hope; sisters, Shirley Sexton and Debbie Bunkowski (Ed); numerous nieces, nephews, extended family members and friends.
John is preceded in death by his parents, Phillip and Patricia, as well as his brothers, Larry, Carl, Phillip, and Rick.
John poured his heart into his life's work, leading All American Remodeling for over five decades. His dedication to craftsmanship and service was as much a part of his identity as his boundless passion for the great outdoors. An esteemed Scoutmaster, John instilled values and skills in countless young lives. He enjoyed hunting, camping, and was known for his love of the Fourth of July, often orchestrating grand displays that brought laughter and spectacle to his friends and family.
