Lonnie G. Taylor, Sr., 73, St. Joseph, Missouri, passed away Saturday, January 13, 2024.&nbsp;&nbsp;

He was born July 16, 1950 in Osborn, Missouri to Arthur and Velma (Gordon) Taylor. He grew up in Osborn, where he was a record-holder in the shot put at Osborn High School.&nbsp;

Lonnie loved to hunt, raise beagles and bird dogs, and fish, especially at Pony Express Lake.&nbsp;

He was a Christian man who loved his family dearly and enjoyed spending time with his kids, grandkids, and great-grandkids. Lonnie also had an ornery side, always joking and teasing his family.&nbsp;

Lonnie had a huge impact on all who knew him and has left many lasting memories. He will be greatly missed.&nbsp;

He was preceded in death by his parents; siblings, Dorothy Shepherd, Jack Taylor, Mary O’Connor, and infant brother, Arthur Edward Taylor; and beloved dog, Delilah.&nbsp;

Survivors include his children, Wendy Cochran (Ralph), Kim Cochran (Kevin), Lonnie G. Taylor, Jr. (Colleen), McKenzie Taylor (Cody), Jalyn Taylor and Mary Taylor; 10 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews, including Jimmy Joe Shepherd, cousins, other extended family members and friends.&nbsp;
