The Albrecht Kemper Museum of Art is set to host a fundraiser for a second year, getting people out on the golf course to help support the art museum while trying to win some prizes.
The second annual Albrecht Kemper Museum of Art Golf Tournament will be held on Monday, September 14th from 9:30am to 3pm, for teams of four to compete at Moila Golf Course.
Director Eric Fuson says currently the event is looking for teams to participate in the tournament for the prizes.
"We've got some openings, so if anyone you know is a golfer, we'd be happy to have them," Fuson says on the KFEQmunnity show. "It's a great fundraiser for us, we've got a $10,000 Hole in One prize, we hope someone wins that this year."
On top of the golf tournament, Fuson says participants will be invited back to the Albrecht Kemper following the event for some food, with help from Mosaic Life Care.
"We'll have some things to do over at the museum to do as well, we'll hand out the awards and things from the tournament, but it will be a great day, it will be a lot of fun," Fuson explains.
First prize will win a round of golf for their team, with carts at the Country Club, while second place will earn a round of gold for four with carts at Moila Golf Course. Third place wins a bay pass for four and 18 holes at the Bunker Club. Registration is $100 per person, or $400 per team. You can register a team online at the Albrecht Kempers website.
