DAVIESS COUNTY—One person was injured in an accident just after 10:30a.m. Sunday in Daviess County.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol reported a 2009 Ford Focus driven by Dariyn R. Pettit, 19, Gallatin, was eastbound on Route E six miles south of Jamesport.
The driver swerved to miss a deer, overcorrected and the vehicle traveled off the road and overturned.
Lifeflight Eagle transported Pettit to Truman Medical Center. She was properly restrained at the time of the accident, according to the MSHP.
