ATCHISON COUNTY —Two people were injured in an accident just after 9a.m. Thursday in Atchison.
According to Atchison Police Chief Mike Wilson, a 2016 Chevrolet pickup driven by Dennis Collier, 64, Atchison, was southbound in the 100 block South 7th Street.
The driver turned west into an apartment complex parking lot and struck a fixed object and then a parked vehicle.
The pickup exited the parking lot onto the 700 Block of Main Street where it struck an eastbound 2014 Ford SUV driven by Garret Williams, 31, Smithville Missouri.
EMS transported Collier to Amberwell Hospital. A private vehicle transported Williams to Amberwell Hospital for examination, according to Wilson.
