Carolyn J. Hintz, 77, Leavenworth, passed away Sunday, July 2, 2023.
She was born on 2/5/1946 to -Emmett Barnett and Rosalind Christenson in Des Moines, IA.
Carolyn’s siblings are Larry Wise, Pamela Cross, Dale Barnett, Denise Neuworth and Joyce Parton.
She graduated from Phoenix High School and Topeka Technical College specializing in computer word processing.
Carolyn married James A. Hintz, Sr. on 2/2/1963 in KC MO.
She enjoyed being a homemaker, food service manager and missionary work.
She was passionate about Religious Outreach work and loved to help underprivileged people.
Her hobbies that she enjoyed various crafts; including sewing, crocheting, and quilting.
Carolyn was preceded in death by both parents, a grandson, Jared James Allen Hintz, a brother, Dale Barnett, and a sister, Denise Barnett Neuworth.
She is survived by husband, James A. Hintz Sr., James A. Hintz Jr. , Sheila Rodriguez and Esther Hintz Elliott,And grandchildren Krista Hintz Bergmeier, Ethan Hintz, Timothy Hintz, Dwayne Kaylor, Michelle Dwire, Desiree Seber, Damien Elliott and Jason Elliott,Great-grandchildren Lillian Bergmeier, Raven Bergmeier, Rory Seber, Willow Seber, Cash Seber, Parker Seber, Aiden Elliott, Alessa Elliott, Hayley Elliott, Kaya Elliott, Hiname Elliott, Emma Elliott and Nevaeh Knight.

Visitation will be Wednesday, July 12, 2023, 5 to 7 P.M. at Davis Funeral Chapel. Funeral Service will be Thursday, July 13, 2023 at 12, noon at Davis Funeral Chapel with burial following at Leavenworth National Cemetery.
