Kenneth Lloyd “Ken” Moran, Sr., 97, Agency, Missouri, passed away Monday, March 4, 2024.
He was born January 4, 1927 in Marlboro, Massachusetts to Telfor and Nona (Jacobs) Moran.
Ken proudly served his country in the U.S. Navy during World War II.
After his service, Ken married Cecile Ellen Willis on December 1, 1945. She preceded him in death on January 2, 1995.
Ken was a sheet metal worker for the Sheet Metal Workers Union #2 for 45 years.
He enjoyed playing softball and golf for many years. He loved to travel, especially to the Colorado mountains to enjoy their beauty and majesty.
Ken was a loving father and grandfather and enjoyed time with his grandchildren. He also was the kind of guy who would help people at any time, day or night.
Ken was of the Baptist faith and was a member of New Home Baptist Church.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Cecile; son, Kenneth Moran, Jr.; stepson, Butch Banks; his parents; brothers, Oris, Clyde, Bob and Harry Moran; and sisters, Eldora Clark and Myrna Bozarth.
Survivors include his children, Gary (Janie) Moran, Tim (Margaret) Moran, Jeff (Brenda) Moran, Marty (Gretchen) Moran, and Patrick (Mandi) Moran; daughter-in-law, Sarah Moran; 14 grandchildren; and numerous great-grandchildren.
Farewell Services and Public Livestream 10:00 A.M. Thursday, Meierhoffer Funeral Home & Crematory. Interment Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will gather with friends one hour prior to the service.
