DAVIESS COUNTY—One person was injured in an accident just before noon Tuesday in Daviess County.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol reported a 2007 1500 driven by Derek S. French, 30, St. Joseph, was southbound on U.S. 69 at Route Y in Winston.
The truck traveled off the west side of the road, struck an embankment, continued across a parking lot, struck a light pole, struck a second light pole and came to rest in the middle of the parking lot.
Daviess County ambulance transported French to Cameron Regional Medical Center. He was properly restrained at the time of the accident, according to the MSHP.
