Kevin Lee Brant 61, of St. Joseph, MO., passed away Friday, October 11, 2024 at his home. He was born July 4, 1963 in St. Joseph, MO, son of the late Patricia and William F. Brant.
He attended Lafayette High School. Kevin was a carpenter all his life, and enjoyed his dog Otis. He was an avid Kansas City Chiefs fan and loved his scratcher tickets.
He was preceded in death by his parents, a brother, William "Bill" Brant, nephews, David Patterson, and Christian Lee.
Survivors include a son, Steven Fitzpatrick of TX, grandson, Kade Hixon who was the apple of his eye, daughter, Toni Hixon (Brian Hodges), son, Dustin Chaney, grandsons, Hunter Chaney and Koda Hodges, sisters, Becky Snyder, Bev Jacobs, and Tracy Brant, brothers, Mark Brant, Robert (Pam) Brant, Christopher (Tina) Brant, and Curtis Clark as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM on Friday at the Rupp Funeral Home. Funeral services and public live stream; 2:00 pm, Friday, October 18, 2024 at the Rupp Funeral Home, The Interment will be at the Savannah Cemetery.
