BUCHANAN COUNTY—One person was injured in an accident just after 8p.m. Saturday in Atchison County.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol reported a 2000 GMC Jimmy driven by Kevin W. Armstrong, 36, Atchison, Kansas, was eastbound on U.S. 59 just west of Fowler Road one mile east of Atchison.
The SUV traveled off the road, struck a large rock and the driver overcorrrected. The SUV began to skid and rolled. Buchanan County EMS transported Armstrong to Mosaic Life Care. He was not wearing a seat belt, according to the MSHP.
