Missouri woman driving SUV falls asleep in Worth County

WORTH COUNTY—A Missouri woman was injured in an accident just after 12:30p.m. Tuesday in Worth County.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol reported a 2015 Ford Explorer driven by Amanda G. Pawling, 46, King City, was northbound on U.S. 169 two miles south of Grant City.

The driver fell asleep. The SUV traveled across the center line, off the west side of the road and struck a concrete culvert.

Grand River ambulance transported Pawling to Mosaic in Albany. She was not wearing a seat belt, according to the MSHP.
