ATCHISON COUNTY —Law enforcement are investigating a suspect for an alleged violent domestic incident.
Just after 8:30p.m. Tuesday, police responded to a disturbance in the 700 block S Street in Atchison, according to Police Chief Mike Wilson. It was determined the disturbance had occurred between two mn who were known to each other and both had been at a residence there.
One of the men, a 30-year-old victim, had left the scene and had been taken to Amberwell Hospital by a family member to be treated for injuries sustained during the altercation. The victim had sustained head and facial injuries from being struck with fists and kicked.
Following an investigation, police took 40-year-old Ryan White into custody on requested charges of aggravated battery.
