Leatha Linder “Kitty”, 68, St. Joseph, Missouri, passed away Monday, June 12, 2023, at Mosaic Life Care.
She was born in St. Joseph, Missouri to John and Juanita (Williams) Linder on September 21, 1954.
She was an employee of the St. Joseph News Press for over 30 years, where everyone remembered her for her kindness, dedication and strong work ethic.
Outside of work, Leatha enjoyed playing bingo, going for drives through the park with her dog, Tiny, and spending time with her children and grandchildren. Leatha was a country music fan, and lovingly remembered as “stubborn and sassy” by her daughter, Brandi.
Leatha possessed a loving and kind spirit, and she will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
She was preceded in death by her parents, John and Juanita Linder; her sisters, Barbara Morgan, Sondra Linder, and Linda Linder; her brothers, Bill Linder and Leslie “Bud” Linder; and her nephew, Roger Linder.
Survivors include her significant other, Jerry Dennison; her children, Brandi Linder and John Linder (Crystal); grandchildren, Jace Linder, Dayton Linder, Gavin Linder and Nevaeh Linder; brothers, Roger Linder (Margaret), Danny Linder (Laura) and Perry Linder (Paula); and several nieces and nephews.
