BUCHANAN COUNTY— A Missouri man was injured in an accident just before 4p.m. Tuesday in Buchanan County.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol reported a 2008 Dodge passenger vehicle driven by Lawrence E. Smith, 20, Kansas City, Mo., was southbound on Interstate 29 three miles south of Faucet. The vehicle traveled off the left side of the road, struck a median cable and overturned.
Buchanan County EMS transported Smith to North Kansas City Hospital. He was properly restrained at the time of the accident, according to the MSHP.
