HOWELL COUNTY—One person died in an accident just before 12:30p.m. Thursday in Howell County.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol reported a 2013 GMC Terrain driven by Thaddaus D. Collins, 27, Thayer, was southbound on U.S. 63 five miles south of West Plains.
The vehicle traveled into the path of a northbound 2018 International semi driven by Terry L. Edwards, 63, Horn City, Florida.
Collins was pronounced dead at the scene and was transported to the Funeral Home in West Plains. Both drivers were properly restrained at the time of the accident, according to the MSHP.
