Lora, daughter of Donald and Hilda Campbell, born May 13, 1966, in Macks Creek, Missouri, age 56, passed away in Grant City, Missouri on April 7, 2023.
She was a mother to Melissa (Trent) and Kristy, and a grandmother to Abigail, Alexander, Eric and Amanda. She overcame the loss of her hearing at a young age by getting an experimental cochlear implant and heard her children for the first time in 2000.
She beat the odds while living with mitochondrial myopathy because she was a fighter. She was a beautiful, kind person, full of love who enjoyed spending time with her family and friends, winning skip-bo, and spoiling her grandbabies.
She enjoyed studying the word of God and trusted her life and soul to Jesus. She loved live music and took her last breath while being serenaded by the love of her life with one of her favorite songs, “Play Me the Waltz of the Angels”.
She passed peacefully in her home surrounded by her loved ones to be with Jesus.
Lora’s final note to loved ones:
“Remember me as a daughter, a mother, grandmother and friend. Remember me with smiles and laughs, if remembering me with tears then don’t remember me at all. God bless you all with love, laughs and happiness. With all caring love, Lora Reynolds.”
A memorial service is to be planned at a later date. Cremation under the direction of Simplify Cremations & Funerals.
