CLINTON COUNTY —One person was injured in an accident just before 12:30p.m. Thursday in Clinton County.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol reported a 2006 Ford Taurus driven by Rosara J. Picone, 50, Liberty, was eastbound on MO 116 at U.S. 169 four miles south of Gower.
The car traveled across U.S. 169. A southbound 2016 Chevy 2500 driven by Jason P. Newman, 33, Kearney, Mo. struck the rear of the Ford.
EMS transported Picone to Liberty Hospital. Newman was not injured. Both drivers were properly restrained, according to the MSHP.
