Georgene Kelly, 61, St. Joseph, Missouri, beloved family member, and friend, passed away Friday, April 4, 2025.

She was born on December 4, 1963, to Gary Frogge and Janice Kay Lippold in St. Joseph, Missouri.

Georgene was a proud graduate of Odessa High School in Odessa, Missouri. Her talent and dedication to her craft led her to further her education at Columbia College, where she studied arts and honed her skills.

Her artistic spirit was not only evident in her academic pursuits but also shone brightly through her professional life. As a fine and talented artist, she achieved the remarkable feat of having one of her batik works displayed in the New York Art Gallery, a testament to her exceptional talent and vision.

In addition to her artistic endeavors, Georgene was a dedicated contract administrator for DST Services, where she was known for her professionalism and keen eye for detail. Georgene's artistic flair was not confined to the canvas; it spilled over into her daily life, earning her numerous accolades in art competitions.

Georgene's love for the country lifestyle was evident in the way she embraced living on the farm. Her passion for animals was profound, and she leaves behind a dog and two cats who will deeply miss her nurturing presence. Her connection with nature extended to her enjoyment of thunderstorms, where she found beauty in the lightning and the night skies.

Halloween was one of Georgene's favorite times of the year, a season that allowed her to express her creativity and joy for life. Her happiness and contentment with life were infectious.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Janice Kay Kelly; her father, Gary Frogge; her sisters Jamie A. Frogge and Stormie Kelly, and her grandparents.

Georgene is survived by her father Richard L. Kelly; stepmother, Carole Kelly; her siblings Gina K. Beverlin (James), Kimberly K. Kelly, and Donald A. Kelly (Jacqueline); her significant other Mark Beggs; her cousin Ellen Sybert and numerous extended family members and friends. A special thanks is extended to Deneice Beggs and Ellen Sybert, whose friendship, loyalty, and kindness to Georgene were unwavering. They were pillars of support and love, always there for her in times of need, and their presence in her life was a source of great comfort and joy.

Her memory will be cherished and kept alive in the hearts of all who were fortunate enough to know her.
