Beautify St. Joseph, a local nonprofit organization, will host a downtown cleanup event on Saturday, March 28.

Volunteers are asked to gather at 9:00 a.m. at Coleman Hawkins Park. The cleanup will focus on the area between Third and Ninth streets, spanning from Faraon Street to Sylvanie Street. 

Organizers noted that if volunteer turnout is high, cleanup efforts may extend to include Civic Center Park.
