Yvonne Marie Melkowski, 68, of Saint Joseph, Missouri, passed away Sunday, September 29th, 2024.
Yvonne was born in Saint Joseph, Missouri on February 2nd, 1956 and raised by her parents Leon Eugene Melkowski and Beverly Ann (Hughes) Melkowski. She attended and graduated from Central High School in 1974. She later graduated from Missouri Western State University with a BS in Fine Arts. Yvonne was most proud of starting her own business Jean Queen.
Yvonne was preceded in death by her parents Leon Eugene Melkowski and Beverly Ann (Hughes) Wilcox.
Survivors include her brother; Steve Hoerath (Trudie); nieces Amie (Mark) and Lindsey (Jake); nephew Ryan (Kristy); and several great nieces.
A celebration of life for Yvonne will be held 6:00 p.m. Tuesday, October 8, 2024 at Heaton-Bowman-Smith & Sidenfaden Chapel with Rex Strayer officiating. Visitation will begin one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
