ATCHISON COUNTY —Two people were injured in an accident just before 11:30a.m. Thursday in Atchison.
According to Police Chief Mike Wilson, a 2014 Buick passenger car driven by Sandra Dunn, 72, Atchison, was westbound on Kansas Avenue and was making a left turn onto 15th Street.
The vehicle struck a 2007 Yamaha motorcycle ridden by Alan Yancey, 65, Atchison, that was stopped northbound on 15th Street at the stop sign.
EMS transported both drivers to Amberwell Hospital for treatment.
