James "Jimmy" Alfred McKenzie 44, of St. Joseph, MO., passed away Monday July 29, 2024 at his home in St. Joseph. He was born May 26, 1980 in Tuscon, Arizona son of the late Linavere & William Mckenzie.
He worked in the restaurant industry most recently at Burger King and Cracker Barrel.
James was preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by his brother, Charles (Lacy) Mckenzie, sisters, Ragena (Brian) Bundy, Susan (Mike) Lamping, Debbie (Ken) Willits, and Trista Mooney (Michael, Sr.), several nieces and nephews, and his longtime companion, Jennie Trueblood.
There are no scheduled services at this time, he will be cremated under the direction of the Rupp Funeral Home.
