Following a manhunt on Tuesday, which was suspended overnight, the Platte County Sheriff's Office announced Wednesday the person they were searching for has been taken into custody.
Just before noon on Wednesday, the Platte County Sheriff's Office announced that 37 year old Michael Hull was taken into custody. Hull was wanted on an outstanding warrant for fleeing a traffic stop which resulted in minor injury to a Weston Police Department officer. The search for Hull on Tuesday also forced the closure of the West Platte School District.
On Tuesday, law enforcement searched Hull’s residence on Cherry Street in Weston but later received a tip that he had fled the city. Per a press release from the sheriff's office Hull was taken into custody around 11:50am at his residence in Weston without incident.
