Michele "Missy" Beate Parker, 61, of St. Joseph, Missouri, passed away Sunday, March 22, 2026 in St. Joseph.
She was born February 10, 1965 in St. Joseph, daughter of Brita Blum and George Parker. She graduated from Benton High School, and went on to obtain her CNA. She then worked at NMPRC - State Hospital on Frederick as a Tech. One thing about Missy, is that she loved all animals, but especially cats. You could always find her spending her spare time with her grandkids, and she loved Chicago. We mean really, really loved Chicago. So much so, that every car ride was a impromptu concert of their greatest hits.
Michele was preceded in death by her mother, Brita Blum. Survivors include: her father, George (Virginia Anderson) Parker of St. Joseph, MO, daughters, Danielle (Andrew) Christie of St. Joseph, MO and Raegen Myers, son, Jeremy (Brandi Beaman) Chavez of St. Joseph, MO, grandchildren, Hope, Will, Liam, Lex, Wrigley, Waylon, Bryden, Madden, Laker, and Alex, and many other loved ones. A Celebration of Life will take place 6:00 - 8:00 PM, Wednesday, March 25, 2026, at Rupp Funeral Home.
